Expat woman in Oman rescued after fall in wadi

Muscat: An expat women who fell into Wadi Shab in Sharqiyah was rescued by the Public Authority for Civil Defence and Ambulance (PACDA).

No information on how the woman of “Asian nationality” fell into the wadi was made available.

Authorities provided emergency medical care on site and shifted her to a hospital in Sur.

In a statement online, PACDA said, “A team from the Public Authority for Civil Defence and Ambulance in southern Sharqiyah dealt with a report of a woman of Asian nationality, falling in Wadi Shab.”



Officials added that the woman was given emergency treatment on site and was sent to Sur hospital for a referral.
