Oman Air flight to Chennai delayed due to medical emergency

Muscat: A medical emergency aboard an Oman Air flight prompted the aircraft to divert to Goa, India before continuing its route to Chennai.

Oman Air flight WY251 scheduled for Muscat to Chennai, was diverted off route to Goa due to a medical emergency on board, tweeted the national flag carrier.

On arrival to Chennai, the passenger disembarked the aircraft which allowed the flight to continue to Chennai.

“The return sector WY252 will be delayed for six hours. We sincerely apologize to our passengers for the lengthy wait and inconvenience caused,” tweeted Oman Air regarding the Chennai – Muscat route.
