Oman's Majlis Al Shura to host Chinese official

Muscat: An official discussion session will be held between the Omani and Chinese sides during the visit of Chen Xiaoguang Vice Chairperson of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC).
The Chinese officials and the accompanying delegates will arrive today on an official visit for three days.
The visit aims to boost the bilateral relations between the two friendly countries and enhancing cooperation in different fields.
The discussion session will be presided over by Khalid bin Hilal Al Mawali, Chairperson of the Shura Council on Wednesday.
It will discuss common cooperation aspects in different fields particularly those related to the legislative and surveillance and the means of promoting bilateral cooperation particularly in economical aspects.
The Chinese delegate will meet a number of officials in different state institutions and also will visit some tourist, historical and industrial attractions in the Sultanate.
