ROP arrests five people across Oman

Muscat: Four people have been arrested for gambling in Al Buraimi, and one arrested fore stealing from six homes in Wilayat of Al Khaboura.

Royal Oman Police said: “North Al Batinah Governorate Police Command arrests a person after he stole gold jewelry, mobile phones, and valuables from six homes in Al Khaboura Wilayat.”

In another case, Al Buraimi Governorate Police Command, in cooperation with Special Tasks Police Unit, arrested a citizen and three people of Asian and African nationalities for managing and playing gambling games in one of the amusement games shops in Wilayat of Al Buraimi.

ROP added, the legal procedures against the accused are being completed.
