Muscat : Assigned by His Majesty Sultan Haitham Bin Tarik, His Highness Sayyid Taimur bin Asaad Al Said will sponsor the annual Royal Cavalry horse race, which will be held in the Wilayat of Ibri, Al Dhahirah Governorate on Monday January 22,2024.
Oman News Agency (ONA), reported that upon a high commission from His Majesty Sultan Haitham Bin Tarik , His Highness Sayyid Taimur bin Asaad Al Said will sponsor on Monday the annual Royal Cavalry horse race, which will be held this year in the Wilayat of Ibri in Al Dhahirah Governorate, organised by the Royal Court Affairs, represented by the Royal Cavalry.
The race will include five rounds dedicated to purebred Arabian horses. The fifth round will be the most prominent round, as the Knights will compete to win the honor of being crowned His Majesty the Sultan’s Cup.
In addition to presenting some Omani arts related to horses, the race sessions will include equestrian sports performances presented by male and female Royal Cavalry riders, accompanied by a variety of musical pieces.
