Sayyid Fahd reviews ties with Saudi Hajj Minister

Muscat: His Highness Sayyid Fahd Mahmoud Al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for the Council of Ministers received on Tuesday Dr. Tawfiq Fawzan Al Rabiah, Minister of Hajj and Umrah of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA).

At the outset of the meeting, Al Rabiah conveyed greetings of the leadership in the KSA and their best wishes of progress and prosperity to the Omani leadership and people.

HH Sayyid Fahd then reviewed the march of the advance relations between Oman and Saudi Arabia, as well as means of boosting those relations.

HH Sayyid Fahd also lauded the efforts exerted by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in serving pilgrims and providing the best services to them.

Further, the meeting highlighted bilateral cooperation in various fields. It also touched on issues of relation to the Islamic world and the stability of its nations. Moreover, the two sides reviewed regional and international developments and discussed matters of mutual interest.

In his turn, Al Rabiah underlined the depth of relations between the two countries. He also shed light on the fact that his visit paves way for further talks with officials in Oman on all matters that can boost fraternal joint relations.

The meeting was attended by Dr. Mohammed Said Al Maamari, Minister of Endowments and Religious Affairs. -ONA
