Muscat: The Minister of Interior of the Sultanate of Oman has received on Tuesday, January 16, 2024, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s Minister of Hajj and Umrah.
His Excellency Sayyed Hamoud bin Faisal Al Busaidi, Minister of Interior, received in his office at the Ministry’s General Office today His Excellency Dr. Tawfiq bin Fawzan Al Rabiah, Minister of Hajj and Umrah in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
During the meeting, matters of common interest were discussed, and the special roles played by the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah in the Kingdom during the Hajj season. His Excellency appreciated the great efforts made by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and its keenness to harness the capabilities in serving the pilgrims of the Holy House of God.
The meeting was attended by His Excellency Dr. Mohammed bin Said Al Maamari, Minister of Endowments and Religious Affairs, and His Excellency Eng. Khalid bin Hilal Al Busaidi, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior. It was also attended from the Saudi side by Minister Plenipotentiary Yousef bin Mohammed Al Awda, Charge d’Affairs of the Embassy of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to the Sultanate of Oman, and the delegation accompanying His Excellency the Minister of Hajj and Umrah.
