Coast Guard assists two Asian boats

Muscat: Coast Guards assisted two Asian commercial boats at sea after breaking down in Khasab, the Royal Oman Police (ROP) said on Wednesday.

According to officials, the two boats were towed to Khasab Port.

In online statement ROP said “Coast Guards assisted two Asian commercial boats after they stopped working at sea due to engine failure in Ras Shaikh Said. The boats and the crew were towed to Khasab Port.”

Moreover, Khasab Police Station arrested seven people of Asian nationality for entering the country illegally.

All legal procedures have been taken and they have been referred to judicial authorities.
