Situated in Saay Commercial District at the Special Economic Zone at Duqm, the Hotel is built on a total area of approximately 5,600 square meters. The Hotel was opened to meet the needs of Duqm’s hospitality sector and accommodation facilities and was a part of the state’s remarkable efforts to become one of Oman’s top economic destinations. This, in turn, will help revive tourism and fulfil the growing demand for business in the region.”
"The Royal Plaza Hotel's proximity to all amenities and shopping centres in the heart of Duqm sets it apart from other hotels," Al-Barashdi continued. The hotel features a modern outside design to keep up with the facades of opulent hotels. At reasonable costs, the rooms' interior design has been carefully considered to accommodate visitors and business people’s diverse interests and requirements.
