Muscat: Upon the dawn of Accession Day, the 11th of January, the day His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik took the reins of leadership in the Sultanate of Oman, His Majesty the Sultan received greetings and sincere wishes from a number of Omani officials.
The officials voiced expressions of loyalty, allegiance and gratitude to His Majesty the Sultan.
They pledged to move forward under the leadership of His Majesty the Sultan and work diligently in the service of Oman’s Renewed Renaissance that brought about comprehensive development for the noble people of Oman.
They prayed to the Almighty Allah to protect His Majesty the Sultan and bless him with good health and a long life. They also wished Omani people further progress and prosperity under the wise leadership of His Majesty.
His Majesty the Sultan received Accession Day greetings from:
- HH Sayyid Fahd bin Mahmoud Al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for the Council of Ministers.
- HH Sayyid Shihab bin Tarik Al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for Defence Affairs.
- Sayyid Khalid bin Hilal Al Busaidi, Minister of the Diwan of Royal Court.
- Gen. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Nu’amani, Minister of the Royal Office, Head of the Office of the Supreme Commander.
- Sheikh Abdulmalek bin Abdullah Al Khalili, Chairman of the State Council.
- Khalid bin Hilal Al Maawali, Chairman of the Shura Council.
- Lt.Gen Hassan Muhsin Al Shuraiqi, Inspector General for Police and Customs.
