Techno and Mwasalat sign MoU for enhanced collaboration

Muscat: In a significant stride towards bolstering commercial cooperation and community service, Techno Plastic Industry SAOC (Techno), specialising in the manufacturing of plastic pipes, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Oman National Transport Company (Mwasalat), a leading company in public transportation in Oman.

The objective is to realise mutual benefits, strengthen promotional activities, and enhance community service.

Omar bin Sulaiman Al-Bahri, the General Manager of Commercial Affairs at Techno Plastic Industry, said, “The solid foundations of our company, built upon a primary commitment to community service and subsequently its business objectives, find completeness only with the presence of a strategic partner aligned with the same strategies that contribute to accomplishing the mission effectively.”

Badar bin Mohammed Al Nadabi, the CEO of Mwasalat, said: “We at Mwasalat appreciate partnerships that contribute to a stronger and more sustainable community and our collaboration with Techno goes beyond social responsibility – it’s a reflection of our commitment to the community we serve. This partnership fills us with excitement for the positive outcomes we anticipate.”

“Our dedication is unwavering in ensuring the success of this venture. Through this, we aim to fulfill Oman Vision 2040’s objectives, enhancing community values and paving the way for a sustainable business environment,” he further added.

This agreement between the two entities emanates from the noble guidance of His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik towards societal cohesion and achieving sustainable development in the private sector, in line with Vision 2040.

In light of this collaboration, the signing of the joint MoU reflects the commitment of both parties to enhance trade relations and contribute to building a more cohesive and interactive society.

This development is regarded as a positive signal towards supporting community initiatives and reinforcing the sustainable vision of both organisations.
