Ministry of Health announces activation of electronic certification service for medical examinations

Muscat: With the aim of improving the service and speeding up transactions, the Ministry of Health announced the activation of the electronic certification service for medical examinations from countries that have centres accredited to the Gulf Health Council.

In an announcement, the ministry said: “The Ministry of Health announces the activation of the electronic certification service for medical examinations issued by countries that have centres accredited to the Gulf Health Council (GC), starting on January 7, 2024 to improve the service and speed up the completion of transactions."

The service will be available on the electronic health portal of the Ministry of Health or through Sanad offices without the need to return to the Ministry’s medical fitness examination centres.

The ministry added: “We would like to inform you that the visitors who have got approval of the examinations before January 7, 2024, to submit their application until January 21, 2024, as the ministry will not receive any manually approved examinations after this date for the Royal Oman Police."
