Oman's Ambassador to Switzerland presents credentials to Pope Francis

Muscat: His Excellency Ambassador Mahmoud bin Hamad Al Hasani, Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to the Swiss Confederation, presented his credentials to His Holiness Pope Francis, Head of State of the Vatican City, as Ambassador Extraordinary and Non-Resident Plenipotentiary to the Vatican.

His Excellency the Ambassador conveyed the greetings of His Majesty Sultan Haitham Bin Tarik to His Holiness Pope Francis and his wishes of health and happiness for him and for the city and its friendly, noble and generous people. His Excellency the Ambassador stressed the reality of coexistence, tolerance and peace in the Sultanate of Oman.

His Holiness also asked His Excellency the Ambassador to convey his greetings and wishes to His Majesty the Sultan and to the Omani people for continued progress and prosperity.
