The Zubair Corporation Launches Unique Job Rotation Programme: Tadweer

Muscat: The Human Capital Centre of Excellence (HC CoE), the HR function of The Zubair Corporation recently launched the first edition of the TADWEER (Training & Development with Effective, Enhanced Rotation) programme. This innovative three-month initiative aims to effectively develop human capital within the Corporation and its subsidiaries. For the first edition, TADWEER will focus on employees from the finance sector and strategically enable employees to comprehend different finance roles, tasks, and functions within several sectors under the Corporation umbrella. TADWEER reflects the Corporation’s commitment to enhancing employee growth and skills.

The launch saw the attendance of various members of the Leadership Team and executives from The Zubair Corporation. During the ceremony, executives from the HR & Finance departments, along with the rotated employee discussed the scope, role and duration of the rotation while formally signing the agreement of rotation.

Speaking on the occasion, Sharifa Al Balushi, Group Head of the Human Capital Centre of Excellence stressed the importance of this initiative. She said, “TADWEER is a commitment towards enhancing employee knowledge and skills, while boosting their performance. The programme has been designed to touch upon not only the professional growth of an individual but also a way to reach personal goals. We continually stress on building a work culture that promotes continuous learning and adapting to the dynamic work environment.

The smooth implementation mechanisms of TADWEER also allow for effective communication to convey information to all relevant employees. The Zubair Corporation’s HC CoE will oversee the entire initiative ensuring compliance with regular feedback from the rotated employee and their mentor. The Corporation also communicated the objective of honouring employees and mentors who stand out during the period.

Raid Al Bimani, Treasury Manager at The Zubair Corporation said, “The success of this initiative will pave the way for its continued implementation and of similar initiatives in different specialisations that will benefit employees and the Corporation alike. This marks the beginning of sustainable future that enhances employee competencies while building upon a stronger business.”

One of the rotated employees, Somu Al Qarni noted, “I am pleased to be a part of the TADWEER programme and hope to learn new skills through my placement. As a participant in the first session, I find myself excited to gain experience in this field and challenge myself in developing my job skills. I would like to express my thanks to the HC CoE for this wonderful experience and I very much look forward to the next stages of TADWEER.”
