Oman's oil exports top 283mn barrels by November

Muscat: The Sultanate of Oman’s oil exports amounted to about 283.41 million barrels by the end of November 2023, according to the latest data.

Data issued by the National Centre for Statistics and Information (NCSI) indicated that the average price per barrel of oil exports was at $81.6. Oil exports constituted 80.8 percent of the total oil production amounting to 350.53 million barrels.

However, despite the robust export figures, the nation experienced a 3.9 percent decrease in total crude oil production, which reached 272.47 million barrels. The total production of oil condensates increased by 8.5 percent, reaching 78.80 million barrels, while the average daily production reached 1.49 million barrels of oil until the end of November 2023.

Oman’s oil found its way to several international destinations with China topping the countries importing oil from the Sultanate of Oman amounting to 260.63 million barrels, followed by Japan at 8.85 million barrels. The list continued with Korea importing crude oil at 3.80 million barrels and India at 2.71 million barrels.

The NCSI data further reveals that exports to other countries reached 7.37 million barrels.
