Muscat: Oman’s first national football team will meet its Chinese counterpart tomorrow in a training camp underway in the United Arab Emirates as preparation for the Asian Nations Cup finals, which Doha will host next January. The match will be held at Baniyas Stadium at 7:15 pm Oman time.
In the second match within the camp, the Oman team will face its counterpart, the Emirati team, on Saturday, January 6th, before heading to the Qatari capital, Doha, to compete in the tournament, which begins on January 12th, 2024.
The National team led by Croatian coach Branko Ivankovic, continued their preparations for the match, which will be closed to the public and the media, through training sessions that were divided into two periods, morning and evening, at the field, and focused on the technical and skill aspects and how to enhance them. Another training session for the national team will be held this evening to discuss tactics for tomorrow’s match against China.
