Maintenance work complete, mountain road set to open in Oman

Muscat: Muscat Municipality announced the reopening of  Al Amerat-Baushar road from Wednesday, after completion of maintenance work on the stretch.

The Municipality said in an announcement: “Muscat Municipality is pleased to announce that lanes of the Mountain Road ‬⁩‬⁩(Al Amerat-Baushar) will be completely opened to traffic in both directions on a permanent basis, starting at 5 am tomorrow, Wednesday, December 27, 2023. We wish everyone safe travels.”
