Muscat: His Highness Sayyid Theyazin bin Haitham Al Said, Minister of Culture, Sports and Youth will preside over the Municipal Councils Symposium organised by the Ministry of Interior and the launch of Tanmia Application on Sunday.
The ceremony will be held at Al Bustan Palace Hotel in Muscat in the presence of a number of ministers, undersecretaries and members of the municipal councils in the governorates.
The two-day symposium includes a number of sessions in which several working papers on development work of municipal councils will be delivered by specialists in the field.
The symposium will acquaint with the views and proposals of the members of the municipal councils along with exchange of views and opinion on the work of the municipal councils.
It is worth mentioning that the Tanmia Application, initiated by the Ministry of Interior, is the digital interface of the municipal councils and enhances communication between the individuals and establishments which leads to achievement of sustainable development and further improvement of the municipal work.
