RGO marks passing out of military music batches

Muscat: The Royal Guard of Oman (RGO) today celebrated the passing out of a number of military music batches.

The RGO also marked the passing out of the joint musical troupe that combined the Royal Cavalry band and the Royal Camel-Mounted Band at the Royal Court Affairs, as well as the scout music band of the General Directorate of Scouts and Guides.

The ceremony was held under the auspices of Maj.Gen Salim Ali Al Hosni, Commander of the Royal Guard of Oman.

The ceremony, held at the RGO headquarters, began with a briefing on theoretical and practical application stages of the training courses, which aimed to provide the musicians with necessary knowledge and skills.

At the conclusion of the ceremony, Maj. Gen. Al Hosni handed over awards of appreciation to top students and distributed graduation certificates.
