Muscat: The Ministry of Education, represented by the Directorate-General of Education in the Governorate of Al Dakhiliyah, signed a pact with OMIFCO to finance the construction project of the Ibn Al Nazr Centre for Science and Innovation in Samail.
It was signed by Majid bin Said Al Bahri, Undersecretary of the Ministry for Financial and Administrative Affairs, and Sheikh Khalid bin Mohammed Al Fanna Al Araimi, Director of Sustainability and Corporate Communications at OMIFCO.
The agreement aims to achieve effective community partnership, funding to build the centre, and create an effective scientific environment based on the importance of scientific research.
The centre aims at keeping pace with technical development in all its forms among students, expanding scientific horizons, developing scientific imagination, and exploration in scientific and cultural fields for various segments of students and members of society, enhancing innovation among young people and stimulating their potential for creating a generation that meets the aspirations of Oman Vision 2040.
