Royal Navy of Oman carries out drill along with Pakistan naval forces

Muscat: The marine exercise Al Thamar Al Tayeb, carried out by the Royal Navy of Oman (RNO) with the participation of naval forces from Pakistan and the support of the Royal Air Force of Oman (RAFO), kicked off on 17 December.

The exercise included a number of activities as per the designated plan, including marine formations, marine operations and exchange of information and expertise between the crews of the participating vessels.

The military exercise also included a briefing on the stages of the exercise and its objectives.

The exercise comes within the annual training plans of the Royal Navy of Oman and within the exchange of expertise with other naval forces.
