Muscat: A Muscat mum is looking for the owner of a pair of Guineafowl that turned up in her garden three days ago and have since refused to budge.
Sindhu Nair, from Al Hail North, is looking to reunite the birds with their rightful owner.
She said: "We live on the beach road and when we came out on Sunday morning, there they were. The children love them but I'm sure someone is missing them.
"I am already cat-sitting for a friend and fending off strays on a daily basis, so it would be great if the owner got in touch to take them back. I'm sure they are missing them."
The Guinea Fowl, or Numididae, can live for up to 20 years and is a large, wild bird native to the African continent. It eats plants, insects and berries.
