Oman, China explore means of boosting relations

Muscat: Sheikh Khalifa Ali Al Harthy, Undersecretary of the Foreign Ministry for Political Affairs met here today with Li Chen, Ambassador for China-Arab States Cooperation Forum Affairs of the Foreign Ministry of the People’s Democratic Republic of China.

During the meeting, the two sides reviewed bilateral relations. They also exchanged views on cooperation areas within the framework of the Arab-China Cooperation Forum.

Moreover, the two sides discussed several matters of mutual interest.

The meeting was attended by Li Lingbing, Ambassador of the People’s Democratic Republic of China to the Sultanate of Oman, Sheikh Abdulaziz Saif Al Hosni, Head of the Asia-Pacific Department, Sheikh Faisal Omar Al Marhoon, Head of the Arab Department and several officials from both sides.
