Two rescued from drowning in Oman

Muscat: Two people were rescued from drowning at Dirbat, a tourist spot in Dhofar, by the Public Authority for Civil Defence and Ambulance (PACDA).

No information on how the incident occurred was put out by the authorities, however officials said that the two weren’t seriously injured.

According to PACDA’s statement, “Emergency medical care was provided to two people who almost drowned in Dirbat area of Dhofar and they were transferred to the Hospital in a moderate health condition.”

PACDA called upon parents not to leave their children unattended while enjoying the tourist spots visits.
