Port of Salalah receives cruise ship with 3,963 passengers

Salalah: The Port of Salalah on Monday received a cruise ship with 3,963 passengers, including 2,956 tourists, as a part of its tourism program for a number of ports of the world.

The tourist programme of the ship, which arrived from the Republic of Cyprus and will head to Port Sultan Qaboos in Muscat Governorate, included tours to tourist attractions and historical sites renowned in the Governorate of Dhofar, besides visiting beaches and traditional bazaars in Salalah.

The Sultanate of Oman annually witnesses visits of many cruise ships, thanks to its sea location overlooking the Indian Ocean, the Arabian Sea and the Sea of Oman.
