Scholarly Research Award dedicated to civil retirement, social insurance launched

Muscat:  Acting in cooperation with the GCC Secretariat General, the Social Protection Fund today launched the first edition of a scholarly research award dedicated to civil retirement and social insurance institutions in member states.

The “GCC 2023 Civil Retirement and Social Insurance Institutions Award” seeks to highlight key challenges facing civil retirement and social insurance establishments and propose solutions to enhance the culture of retirement and social insurance in accordance with the latest research methods.

The award can be contested by researchers who hold PhD, Master’s Bachelor’s degrees, as well as undergraduates, college students, GCC citizens and residents in GCC states.

The names of winners will be announced in the first quarter of 2025.
