Morocco: Omani film “You Will Not Dive Alone” wins award at International Sea Film Festival

Muscat: The short Omani documentary film “You Will Not Dive Alone” by director Fahd Al Maimani, a member of the Oman Film Society, won the first place at the International Film Festival of the Sea in the Kingdom of Morocco.

 The film reflects a unique artistic journey, characterised by exceptional cinematography and the ability to explore environmental issues in an inspiring way.

 It talks about the world of the deep seas and oceans in a charming and dazzling way, and highlights the ancient Omani culture, the beauty of nature, and marine life in the Daymaniyat Islands. It also tells the story of two Omani sailors, Faisal Al-Yazidi and Ahmed Al-Busaidi, and their close relationship with this enchanting world, as they share their experiences and adventures between land and sea. The film delves into the details of this mysterious world and reveals different worlds under the surface of the water, with scenes that take the audience on an exploratory journey of the beauty of the deep sea and marine creatures in the Sultanate of Oman.
