Rainfall forecast over parts of Oman

Muscat: The latest aerial photos show rain clouds over Musandam Governorate, with thunderstorms of varying intensity falling over the north of the governorate (Wilayat Khasab), which may be accompanied by a decrease in horizontal visibility at times, Oman Meteorology asked people to exercise caution.

According to Oman Meteorology, today's weather forecast is mainly clear skies to partly cloudy over most of the Northern Governorates with a chance for isolated rain along the coastal areas of Musandam governorate and Oman Sea.

"There is the chance of low clouds or fog patches at late night to early morning along parts of the Arabian Sea and Al Dakhiliyah, Al Buraimi and Al Dhahirah governorates. With Chances of dust raising winds over desert areas of Al Wusta and Dhofar governorates."
