Muscat: His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik has issued a supreme pardon for 166 prison inmates convicted in various cases.
Royal Oman Police (ROP) stated that 166 prisoners, considering of both citizens and expats, will benefit from the decision. The pardon comes from His Majesty the Supreme Commander coinciding with the occasion of 53rd National Day, and taking into account the families of these prisoners.
