Muscat: The National Competitiveness Office issued the first version of Oman Competitiveness Annual Report 2022.
The report reviews the performance of Oman in international indicators monitored by the office, with the aim of raising the local community’s awareness towards the international indicators. The report also aims to be a reference for government and private institutions and researchers interested in the current status of Oman’s ranking in various areas.
The report includes four main themes. The first one presents 15 international indicators, which are among the most important international indicators issued by various international organizations and institutions that address the economic, social, political and environmental aspects.
The second theme gives the reader a deeper picture of Oman’s performance in the seven main indicators monitored by the office.
Meanwhile, the third theme reviews the most important government efforts during 2022, which could contribute directly or indirectly to improving the competitiveness of the Sultanate of Oman.
The final theme reviews different viewpoints of specialists and those interested in international indicators on the importance of improving the competitiveness of Oman by enhancing its performance in various international indicators.
