Citizen dies in Wadi Shafan

Muscat: An Omani national has died after his vehicle was swept away in a valley in North Al Batinah Governorate, on Thursday, October 26, 2023, confirmed CDAA. The rescue team managed to recover his body this morning. 

CDAA said in a statement: “Search and rescue teams from the Civil Defence and Ambulance Department in North Al Batinah Governorate responded yesterday evening to a vehicle that was swept away with its driver in Wadi Shafan in Wilayat of Al Khaboura.“
