SalamAir appoints new acting CEO

Muscat: SalamAir, the first low cost airline in the Sultanate of Oman, has appointed a new acting Chief Executive Officer, the company said on Monday.

In a statement on Twitter, the airline said, "The Board of Directors, appointed Captain Ahmed Mohammed Al-Shidhani as acting Chief Executive Officer, succeeding Captain Mohamed Ahmed."

Captain Al-Shidhani formerly served as the Chief Operating Officer of the airline.
