This place in Oman recorded the highest night temperature in the world

Muscat: The wilayat of Quriyat in the Sultanate of Oman recorded the highest night time temperature ever in history, at 42.6 degrees Celsius on June 27, Oman’s Meteorology Department confirmed on Sunday.
An official of the Meteorology Department at the Public Authority for Civil Aviation (PACA) told the Times of Oman that the temperature was probably even higher at other locations, but wasn’t recorded because there are no monitoring stations in these areas.
The official said: “The dry north-westerly winds passing through the Empty Quarter Desert led to the highest temperature of 42.6 degrees Celsius at night.
Other areas in Quriyat could have recorded even higher temperatures than this, but there are no temperature monitoring stations in these areas. This was the highest temperature recorded at night.”
“Now, temperatures have come down to around 45 degrees Celsius during the daytime, instead of 50 degrees Celsius during the past week, due to the warm and wet southeasterly winds coming from the Arabian Sea,” the official said.
