Sayyid Badr discusses Gaza issue with GCC counterparts, Jordan minister

Muscat: Sayyid Badr bin Hamad Al Busaidi, Foreign Minister, and Ayman Al Safadi, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriate Affairs of Jordan, discussed during a phone call the regional and international efforts being made to stop the Gaza escalation, and the importance of protecting civilians from the repercussions of the current crisis between Israel and the Palestinians in Gaza.

The two ministers stressed the importance of resorting to logic and a political solution based on the rules of international law and the right to self-determination.

Moreover, Sayyid Badr discussed with the GCC counterparts the efforts to resume peace process and immediate intervention to end the ongoing escalation in Palestine, open humanitarian corridors for people in Gaza, and resort to the rules of international and humanitarian law.
