Muscat: Rajasthani Wing of ISC celebrated their re-inaugural event at Indian Social Club multipurpose hall on October 6, 2023.
While addressing the gathering, Amit Narang, Ambassador of India to the Sultanate of Oman, congratulated the Rajasthani Wing members for taking up the initiative of re-registration of the wing.
He mentioned that Rajasthan as the name suggests is land of Royals, is heart of India. Rajasthan’s heritage and culture are rich and vibrant with ancient forts, palaces and its cuisine. He also praised the value of Rajasthan in the campaign of Incredible India.
The Ambassador of India said that he spent a few years of his childhood at a place on the borders of Rajasthan and shared his personal connection with the state mentioning names of some monuments and dishes from Rajasthan, which filled the audience with a feeling of pride.
He wished Rajasthani wing a great success and a bright future. The convenor, Pankaj Phophaliya. welcomed the audience at the event ‘Shubharambh’.
He also thanked ISC Chairman P Babu Rajendaran and ISC Vice chairman C M Sardar for their constant support.
The crowd was overwhelmed when the Indian Social Club Chairman, Babu Rajendaran addressed the gathering congratulating Rajasthani wing and its members.
Among the dignitaries present were Amit Narang, Ambassador of India, Sheikh Anil Bhai Khimji, Director Khimji Ramdas Group, Ajay bhai Khimji, Director Khimji Ramdas Group, Dinesh Kumar Saraogi, Jindal Group, Pardeep Kumar, First Secretary Community Welfare Indian Embassy, Indian Social Club’s, ISC General Secretary Shakeel.K.M, Pravashi Bhartiya award winner R.M.Parekh. Dignitaries also distributed certificates to the participants.
