Muscat: Delegated by His Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Said, His Highness Sayyid Shihab bin Tariq Al Said will head to the Saudi Arabia today to lead the Sultanate’s delegation taking part in deliberations of the GCC and Arab emergency summits scheduled to be held at Makkah Al Mukaramah on Thursday and the 14th session of the Islamic Summit of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), for Friday, May 31.
Sayyid Shihab will be accompanied by an official delegation comprising Yousef bin Alawi bin Abdullah, Minister Responsible for Foreign Affairs, Sheikh Mohammed bin Sa’ayed Al Kalbani, Minister of Social Development, Dr. Sayyid Ahmed bin Hilal AlBusaidi, Sultanate’s Ambassador to the KSA, Dr. Saleh bin Salim Al Rahbi, Secretary General at the Office of the Advisor to His Majesty the Sultan, Dr. Ali bin Ahmed Al Issa’ee, Sultanate’s Ambassador to the Arab Republic of Egypt, its Permanent Delegate to the Arab League, Mohammed bin Nasser Al Wahibi, Head of the GCC Department at the Foreign Ministry, Sheikh Salim bin Suhail Al Ma’ashani, Head of International Organisations Department at the Foreign Ministry and some officials.
