Muscat: His Highness Sayyid Theyazin bin Haitham Al Said, Minister of Culture, Sports and Youth, visited the Sultanate of Oman pavilion at Al Riyadh International Book Fair 2023.
His Highness, accompanied by His Highness the Prince, the Saudi Minister of Culture, was briefed on the books, manuscripts, symbols of Omani culture and creators, and publishing houses included in the pavilion.
A number of those involved in displaying and publishing Omani publications emphasised the passion of readers from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and of those residing there to learn about the Sultanate's culture and history. They were also interested in acquiring Omani novels and publications. The Sultanate is the guest of honour at the exhibition with the participation of 15 government and private entities.
Later, His Highness also attended the concert performance of the Royal Oman Symphony Orchestra at the Red Hall Theater in Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University in Riyadh.
