Over 30 arrested for trying to enter Oman illegally

Muscat: More than 30 people have been arrested by the Royal Oman Police (ROP), for attempting to enter the Sultanate of Oman illegally.

A statement issued online by ROP said: "The Coast Guard Police in North Al Batinah Governorate arrested 34 infiltrators of Asian nationalities while they were trying to enter the country illegally on a fishing boat. The legal procedures were completed against them."
