Kuwait: Makeshift workshops to promote Oman in the GCC market kicked off here today. Organized by the Ministry of Heritage and Tourism, the programme seeks to introduce key features of Oman’s heritage and tourism landmarks and highlight them in the GCC market.
The opening of the promotional programme was held under the auspices of Dr. Saleh Amer Al Kharousi, the Sultanate of Oman’s ambassador to the State of Kuwait.
The programme, which runs until 5 October, fits with the objectives of Oman's 2040 Tourism Sector Strategy. It will tour four GCC states, which are Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain and the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
