Muscat: His Excellency Ziad Makari, Minister of Information of the Lebanese Republic, and his accompanying delegation have visited on Monday, October 2, 2023 the National Museum.

The guest wandered around the museum and its corridors. He listened to a brief introductory explanation about it, and the craft items it contains that embody aspects of authentic Omani life.

His Excellency was introduced to the corner of Sultan Qaboos bin Said (the dearest and purest of men) in the Renaissance Hall, and a group of royal collectibles, most notably personal collectibles and gifts given to the late Sultan from some leaders of brotherly and friendly countries.

The National Museum is a history project that aims to spread the ancient civilization of Oman and preserve the material and intangible evidence and collectibles that make up the history, heritage, culture and arts of the Sultanate in all its manifestations. It also aims to highlight its cultural, historical and cultural dimensions while employing the best practices and standards followed in the fields of museum management, collections management, display and visitor services.
