Ground-breaking ceremony for Switz Group Factory

Muscat: Abrar Middle East, a reputable construction firm with a legacy dating back to 2006, has been chosen as the lead contractor for the reconstruction of Switz Group's Sohar factory.

Following a devastating fire incident, Switz Group's decision to partner with Abrar Middle East underscores the company's reputation for excellence. The revamped Sohar factory will boast advanced refrigeration systems and a sturdy concrete structure tailored for frozen product manufacturing. Remarkably, Abrar Middle East is committed to completing this ambitious project within just nine months. Noteworthy is the two-phase expansion plan, demonstrating Switz Group's dedication to innovation and growth. Phase one will restore the factory's previous functionalities, while phase two will enhance its capacity to meet growing market demands.

Amidst excitement, the ground-breaking ceremony took place on April 18, with the project team and key members, including Javed Potrick, Director Purchase and Contracts, Bilal Potrick, Director of Operations, and Ashiq Arif, Operation Head, in attendance. This milestone marks a remarkable opportunity for the company to spread its wings in Sohar, as they look forward to executing more projects while adhering to client budgets and timelines.

Mujeebur Rahman, the Managing Director at Dimx Atelier, the Dubai-based consultant for the project, extended his best wishes to both parties and reassured them of his unwavering support throughout the project until its completion and handover. Imran Potrick, Chairman of Abrar Middle East, pledges to complete the project ahead of schedule, backed by a stellar track record of timely completions.
