Bringing with him more than 35 years of expertise in the international luxury hotel sphere, W Muscat’s new General Manager, Staris Latkas, is set to bring a fresh perspective to Muscat’s ever growing Hospitality scene when he joins the W Muscat team on the 1st of October.
During his 7 years in Doha as a Marriott Multi-property Director of Operations and Innovation and Deputy General Manager, he oversaw and implemented many exciting projects and transformed these properties into local hotspots, especially during the time of the World Cup.
With a passion for luxury lifestyle, innovation and wellness, Staris encapsulates the essence of the W hotels brand. As the new General Manager of the W Muscat, he has already become the driving force behind several of the hottest events in town such as the Yum Cha brunch at Ba Ban, the Le Soiree dinner brunch at Siddharta Lounge by Buddha Bar and the launch of the Char Sports and Cigar Lounge, already solidifying the hotel as a local trendsetter.
