Oman appreciates mutual release of Iranian, American detainees

Muscat : The Sultanate of Oman welcomed the process of mutual release of Iranian and American nationals.

 In a statement issued by the Foreign Ministry, the Sultanate praised the great cooperation of the Islamic Republic of Iran and the United States of America with the efforts made by the Sultanate of Oman and the sisterly State of Qatar in this regard, expressing its hope that the positive steps will continue in a way that that preserves the stability of the region and consolidates the principles of international peace and security.
