Oman participates in 78th Session of UN General Assembly

New York: The Sultanate of Oman took part in the opening of the 78th session of the United Nations (UN) General Assembly, held in New York.

Oman’s delegation was headed by Sayyid Badr Hamad Al Busaidi, Foreign Minister. The general assembly was attended by António Guterres, Secretary General of the UN and Dennis Francis, Chairman of the 78th session, as well as several leaders and ministers who represented member states in the UN.

The 78th session of the UN General Assembly is themed “Rebuilding trust and reigniting global solidarity: Accelerating action on the 2030 Agenda and itsSustainable Development Goalstowards peace, prosperity, progress and the sustainability for all”.
