Oman’s Embassy in Egypt intervenes on the killing of a citizen

Muscat: The Embassy of the Sultanate of Oman in Cairo is following up with the competent Egyptian authorities on the details of the incident of the killing an Omani citizen in Egypt on Monday, September 18, 2023.

Embassy of the Sultanate of Oman in Cairo said in a statement :"With great regret and sadness, the Embassy received news of the killing of an Omani citizen in Cairo on Monday morning, September 18, 2023. As a result, the Embassy is following up with the competent Egyptian authorities on the details of the incident."

The embassy expresses its confidence in the competence of the Egyptian authorities in uncovering the circumstances of the case in order to achieve the desired justice.

News was circulated on social media platforms that the Omani citizen died in his apartment after an Egyptian citizen stabbed him 11 times in the back and neck.
