Dengue fever on the rise in Oman; over 1500 cases reported so far

Muscat: The number of Dengue fever cases caused by the Aedes mosquito is on the rise across the Sultanate of Oman, said a report issued by the Ministry of Health(MoH).

The report indicated a significant increase in dengue fever, with cases reaching 1,989 cases, as a result of which the Ministry is cooperating with the relevant authorities to combat the Aedes mosquito (the carrier of this disease).
