The award certifies that businessgateways has put in place an internationally recognised Quality Management System (QMS) to ensure the delivery of high quality and consistently superior services.
businessgateways had also recently obtained the important ISO 27001:2013 Certification for Information Security Management System (ISMS) Standard for IT Data Management Security.
The new ISO 9001:2015 certification reinforces businessgateways’ management and operational capabilities, as the company positions itself for a new phase of growth as a leading enabler of e-services for the business community.
Operating major national IT projects, such as the Joint Supplier Registration System (JSRS) – the Oil and Gas Industry Supplier Certification System on behalf of Oman’s Ministry of Oil and Gas, the National Business Framework (NBF) driving B2B business stimulation between companies, and the Oman National Subsidy System (NSS) the National Subsidy System for Oman’s citizens, businessgateways has always recognised the need to ensure its operating processes and procedures are fully compliant with the demands and challenges that go with the operations of such important IT platforms.
Given its increasingly important role as a portal for local corporations of all sizes to connect within business communities locally, regionally and internationally, the newly-acquired ISO 9001:2015 Standard, together with the ISO 27001:2013, is set to hold businessgateways in excellent stead as it gears up for delivering critical business support services to its customers.
