MUSCAT: Meethaq Islamic Banking from Bank Muscat participated recently in the GCC forum on zakat and the first meeting for zakat committees in Oman held at Oman Across Ages Museum. The forum was attended by authorities responsible for managing and distributing zakat in the member states of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) and members from zakat committees affiliated with the Ministry of Endowments and Religious Affairs. It included as part of its activities an exhibition for zakat committees and panel discussions for committees’ members.
