One arrested for defrauding in Oman

Muscat: A foreigner was arrested by Royal Oman Police (ROP), for defrauding a number of people by claiming the ability to multiply money.

A statement issued online by Royal Oman Police (ROP), said: "The General Department of Inquiries and Criminal Investigations arrested an expatriate of African nationality on charges of defrauding a number of people by claiming the ability to multiply money. The tools used and forged sums of money were found in his possession. The legal procedures are being completed against him."
