‘She Stems’ programme launched for training, development of Omani women

Muscat : The Ministry of Higher Education,  Research and Innovation signed a cooperation agreement with the Oman Cable Industry Company to launch the second edition of the She Stems programme for community development.

It includes developing the practical skills of 20 Omani female trainees to qualify them to work in the manufacturing, science, technology, engineering and mathematics sectors in the Sultanate of Oman.

The “She Stems” programme is part of the efforts made by the Oman Cable Industry Company to develop local talent and achieve a sustainable future for the Sultanate of Oman. It is a programme dedicated to female job seekers.

The launch of the second version of the programme comes to strengthen the strategic partnership between the two parties, to achieve fruitful cooperation in the field of qualifying and training job seekers, and to continue the success achieved by the first batch that was launched last year.
